Aurelia, IA -The First Cooperative Association in Aurelia officially opened their Fertilizer Plant and celebrated with an open house, inviting the public to lunch and free First Coop hats.

Technological improvements come with the new plant. Controls throughout the facility can be manned by one person. The office is also now equipped with a dispatcher.

A new conveyor belt system distributes urea, potash and other materials used at the plant into large bins. The plant is 220' by 278' and will serve customers in a 30-mile radius of Aurelia
